Terms and Conditions for the  Squarespace Extended Trial & Discount Offer

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern participation in the Squarespace 12-Month Extended Trial & 25% Discount Offer (“Offer”) provided by Lesia Design & Digital Inc. (“Lesia Design”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By participating in this Offer you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

1.1 To participate in this Offer you must be at least 16 years old, in accordance with Squarespace’s Terms of Use, which state that the Squarespace Services are not intended for persons under 16 
1.2 You also must have the legal capacity to enter into and comply with these Terms.

2. The Offer

2.1. Under this Offer, Lesia Design will provide you with either:
a) A brand new Squarespace website with a 12-month extended trial, or
b) A duplicate of your existing Squarespace website in order to extend your trial period.

2.2. When duplicating an existing site, your new duplicated site will include the same content, layout, pages, images, text, design, and visual settings from your original site that are supported by Squarespace’s duplication feature. Squarespace Support

2.3. Certain elements will not be automatically duplicated and must be set up separately on the new site. These may include, without limitation:

  • Commerce backend data, such as orders, customer accounts, and purchase history. Not relevant if the site hasn’t launched yet!

  • Domain registrations or connections, which remain tied to the original site until reconnected on the duplicate.

  • Billing plans and subscriptions (the duplicate begins as a trial that must be upgraded separately).

  • Third-party integrations that require new authentication, including payment gateways and connected accounts.

  • Analytics configurations, site settings, and contributor permissions that must be reconfigured on the duplicate site. Squarespace Support

2.4. The duplication process will not affect your original site; your current live site remains unchanged and continues to operate normally during and after duplication. Squarespace Support

2.5. After the duplicated or new site is prepared, you will receive an invitation via email from Squarespace to accept admin access. Once accepted, the extended trial begins and Lesia Design removes administrative access to your original site.

3. 12-Month Trial and 25% Discount

3.1 The extended 12-month trial period begins on the date you activate your new or duplicated Squarespace site by accepting the admin invitation.
3.2 If you transition to a paid Squarespace subscription during the 12-month trial, you will be eligible for a 25% discount on your first eligible subscription purchase.
3.3 The discount is applied through Squarespace at checkout and is subject to Squarespace’s billing processes.

4. Relationship with Squarespace

4.1 You agree to comply with all applicable Squarespace legal terms including its Terms of Service, Acceptable Use Policy, and other policies governing the use of the Squarespace platform. Squarespace

5. Your Responsibilities

5.1 You are responsible for providing accurate contact information and for accepting Squarespace’s admin invitation in a timely manner.
5.2 You are responsible for all content, data, settings, and operations on the new or duplicated Squarespace site once activated.

6. Modifications and Limitations

6.1 We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Offer at any time without notice.
6.2 This Offer cannot be combined with other special offers or discount codes unless expressly permitted.

7. Privacy

7.1 Any personal information you provide in connection with this Offer will be governed by our Privacy Policy, above..

8. Disclaimer and Liability

8.1 Lesia Design makes no guarantees about Squarespace’s platform performance, site uptime, or functionality.
8.2 You acknowledge that Squarespace independently governs all aspects of its platform and that any disputes involving Squarespace’s services must be addressed with Squarespace under its Terms.

9. Governing Law

9.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia, Canada.
9.2 Any disputes arising from these Terms will be resolved in the courts of British Columbia.
